What is a "Livestock Share"? Empty

Let's say someone in the city would really like to have fresh beef or pork or chicken. Obviously, being in the city, they don't have the place to raise an animal. So they find someone that does. They pay for half of the purchase price of an animal (calf, chicks, piglets, etc) and they share the cost of feed, medications, vet costs, what have you. The person actually raising the animal pays less because they are doing all the work.

When the time comes for butchering, they share half of the meat. Or share eggs, or however you choose to do it.

This also works for gardens, not just animals.

So if you are someone looking for someone else to raise an animal, (Or garden) or have the space and time to offer this to someone, please post in this category.
